Curtis Instruments - SepEx Motor Speed Controllers

Curtis SepEx® motor controllers deliver smooth, silent and seamless control of separately excited DC motors. SepEx® motor controllers eliminate the need for reversing contactors and provide full regenerative braking to zero speed. Curtis' renowned MOSFET power sections, combined with a sophisticated microprocessor, provide high efficiency and flexibility.

All SepEx (DC Shunt) Motor controllers have multimode and half bridge (two quadrant) field drivers. For more technical information including data sheets on the SepEx range, please refer to the Product Information section.

1243 and 1244 models have half bridge (two quadrant) armature driver for solid state reversing and regenerative braking. Provides neutral plug braking and four programmable operating modes (profiles).
